Zone of Light Studio offers high-quality, affordable art instruction during ALL school break days in DeKalb and Atlanta Public Schools, including Snow Days, Spring Break and Summer Programs. Working parents will rest assured that their children are safe, productive and happy. The Zone makes learning fun and encourages everyone to express themselves artistically. Our talented team of artists and Georgia-certified educators design imaginative class themes that enrich children’s learning experience and promote their individuality. |
2024-25 School Calendars:
Ages: 5 - 12 (Students will be divided into age groups for activities)
8:30am - 5pm (door opens at 8:15am for early drop-offs -- please alert us in advance if your child will arrive BEFORE 8:30)
Extended Care is available from 5pm - 6pm for an additional fee of $10 per day.
Parent must provide a labeled non-perishable lunch, morning and afternoon snacks) and water bottle (remember the ZONE is a peanut & nut free facility to ensure the safety of all our children). Please remember that students should wear old play clothes that an can get dirty and stained. Our goal is for children to have fun and feel free to be creative, messy and worry-free.

$100.00 for FULL day session (8:30am - 5pm) all inclusive
$10.00 for EXTENDED CARE, per day (5pm - 6pm)
$425 for Full 5-Day Week ($330 for 4-Day weeks)
$325 for Half-Day Week ($230 for 4-Day Week)
$45 for Extended Care (Week)
For Extended Care: You must register BEFORE the week your program is to begin in order to guarantee a slot. Extended care cannot be guaranteed if you register the week of your program. Slots may be full, as we must maintain our student-to-child ratio.

Here is some of what we are doing to keep kids and staff safe:
Please note: If your child, or anyone in your household, has been exposed to COVID, your child must test negative for the virus before attending Zone of Light Studio. If your child is unable to attend due to a positive test or contact with someone with the virus, refunds are not available.
If your child has been discovered to have lice, you must keep them your child at home until you have received a doctor's note indicting they are clear of infestation. For the safety of all the children at camp, we must take all precautions to prevent the spread of lice. No refunds will be given for missed camp dates due to lice (or similar infestations) or other illness.
Here is some of what we are doing to keep kids and staff safe:
- We will have a ratio of no more than 12 children per instructor (up to 14 for older kids).
- There are separate classrooms for each age group. Plus, there will be a safe area to eat and for outdoor activities (weather permitting).
- Parents will provide a bag for each child which will include: snacks and lunch each day, water bottle, personal books. All items must be clearly-labeled. We will NOT be maintaining a Lost & Found from week to week.
- Please note, we will not be providing any snacks at all during this time (except Snow Cones on Fridays!). Plan on morning/afternoon snacks and lunch brought by your child.
- There will be hand-sanitizer in each room, and disposable gloves available for whenever necessary. Frequent and proper hand-washing will be encouraged and supervised after activities and restroom visits.
- All “heavy touch” surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected daily (or more frequently, as needed).
- If any child (or staff) expresses or exhibits symptoms of illness, they will immediately be isolated, and parents contacted for pick up.

Is this your first time at the Zone?
Please fill out an enrollment/registration form from our new online Parent Dashboard for each child visiting the studio. The form covers emergency contact information, a medical release, and a photo release. You only need to fill it out one time each calendar year and we will keep it on file.

ATTENDANCE:
Although we are very flexible, we expect enrolled students to attend camp on the day they register. We do not offer make-up days for absences. We do not refund tuition for absences. Any special circumstances need to be addressed with the administrative staff. However, know that we are happy for your business and we will work through reasonable adjustments if at all possible.
