Let it be known that Amy Wilson from Zone of Light is my hero. Like a fairy godmother, Amy calmly took the reins from my hands and created a gorgeous birthday party for my two children beyond my expectations in just hours. She saved me & my husband money, time and most importantly, our sanity!
I had very little time to plan a birthday party for our my son and daughter, I am a busy mother with a full time job and I needed a one stop shop for a duo birthday party… A tall order – 5 year old girl and 10 year old boy who are polar opposites. All the worry went out the window when I contacted Amy. We emailed back and forth throughout the course of a morning, when I told her what I was looking to do with her converted warehouse she promptly responded with various options that would work within my budget and size of my party, from there all the little details fell into place. She recommended a Magician, Photographer, negotiated prices with vendors and made my bookings. Zone of Light runs an amazing art camp that my daughter frequents… and seriously thinks is the best place on earth. When I went on their website and read about the private events.. I thought I would send an invite to inquire.. I was so happy to receive the one on one attention that Amy provided. She not only set the agenda, theme and expectations, she even scripted my invitations. The staff was extremely friendly/helpful, some are local school teachers, the stellar venue surpassed my expectations. What an amazing experience I was able to give my children. Hands down, the best party venue for children in Atlanta and by far the most honest and infectious owner you will ever meet. Amy is an asset to our town and knows all the best resources in the party arena. I am just thrilled that I was able to pull off such a fantastic event. |
I included the invitations that Amy wrote for both kids below, she wrote these in less than 20 minutes… Wicked smart women she is!
Daughter’s Birthday Invite: Ashna Jagoo is turning five, There isn't a sweeter girl alive, so come help us celebrate and share this great day, a party we will have and you all must come play. Zone of Light is the space that is hosting the night, the art and the food will be a delight. We hope kids wear clothes that has them ready for bed, so the grown-ups can play as the little ones rest their heads. We will start off at 6 with face painting and fun, by 7 the food and desserts will be done. The art and creativity then will begin after that, Parents are invited to stay and to chat. The warehouse is open with drinks for the old, Even a concoction for those that are bold. You are welcome to stay in the room with your child, but we recommend you close the door and let them be wild. A little before 8 will begin the movie time. Popcorn and icee station will then form their line. So bring your pillows and blankets for kids to relax, while parents and adults come prepared to chill and chat! Ashna is happy and hopes you can come. Without you, this night won't be near as much fun! Son's Birthday Invite: RJ's birthday is coming and is going to be fun, We hope your are daring and lend us your son, We need him to celebrate, play and relax- Blacklight theme is where it is at! Dinner, and games, and a little art too, then a movie he chose just for his crew. We hope you can join us for RJ's big night Wear neon, wear black, or be bold and wear white. |
