Programs are for children age 5 to 12. We have a separate spaces for 5-6 year old students, 6-7 year old students, and for 8-12 year old students. Each group will have their own teachers, lessons, and personal space in order to make sure children are safe, creative and happy. The ratio will remain no higher than 12-to-1 (age separations per group may change as enrollment dictates, but the ratio will not).
For ages 5-6, we will work in small groups with centers of crafts, movement, story-time, art, free play, and outdoor time. For ages 6-7, we will work on arts and crafts, free play, and outdoor time -- projects will be super fun and fairly detailed. For ages 8-12, instructors incorporate more detailed art and learning lessons into the day. Projects will be engaging and complex, but less craft-oriented to work on improving skills and art techniques. Lessons and projects specific to their skills and abilities. Parent must provide a labeled non-perishable lunch, two snacks and water bottle. (Remember the ZONE is a peanut & nut-free facility to ensure the safety of all our students.) Please remember that students should wear old play clothes that an can get dirty and stained. Our goal is for students to have fun and feel free to be creative, messy and worry-free. Please fill out an enrollment/registration form from our online Parent Dashboard for each child visiting the studio. The registration form covers emergency contact information, a medical release, and a photo release. You only need to fill it out one time each calendar year and we will keep it on file.
