Seasonal Tea Party Classes are designed to celebrate an upcoming holiday or just have fun. We work on creative expression through crafts and dress up, socialization through learning the simple art of table conversation and table manners, and education through investigation of tea, the diverse tea offerings, and its interesting history. Children will decorate their own straw hat to wear at our tea party. After decorating a tea pot shaped frame, children will dress up and have their photo taken. After a brief history lesson about tea, a fun lesson on how to set the table, and general review of appropriate manners, children will sit down to enjoy tea and cookies/cakes. |
