2020 Summer Programs at Zone of Light!

Summer programs are back at the ZONE!  Each week of summer programs have an exciting theme — take advantage of our exciting daily activities, art projects, reading and writing, acting and outdoor games that will engage any child. All supplies are included! Come play, explore, and create at the ZONE this summer!

Parent must provide a labeled non-perishable lunch and water bottle.   (Remember the ZONE is a peanut & nut-free facility to ensure the safety of all our students.) Afternoon snacks will be provided. Please remember that students should wear old play clothes that an can get dirty and stained. Our goal is for students to have fun and feel free to be creative, messy and worry-free.
WE LOVE OUR UNIQUE STUDIO SPACE -- YOU WILL TOO! In late 2015 we moved to 1202 Zonolite Road, Atlanta 30306, more than tripling our usable space! This additional space gives us more flexibility and opportunities for even more exciting programs!

For Summer 2020, we have a separate space for the 5-7 year old students and for the 8-15 year old students.  Each group will have their own teachers, lessons, and personal space in order to make sure children are creative and happy.  The ratio will remain 10-to-1.

For ages 5-7, we will work in small groups with centers of crafts, movement, story-time, art, free play, and outdoor time.

For ages 8-15, instructors incorporate more detailed art and learning lessons into the day.  Projects will be super fun and detailed, but less craft-oriented to work on improving skills and art techniques.  Lessons and projects specific to their skills and abilities.
